In the fight against drug trafficking, the State Police of Arezzo has taken an important step forward with the arrest of two individuals found in possession of a large quantity of drugs and cash.
The operation was carried out during a regular patrol along the Autostrada del Sole, when a Battifolle Traffic Police patrol noticed a suspicious car in the middle of traffic.

It was around 4pm when the Audi A3 was stopped.
The occupants, two men in their thirties living in the Brescia area, aroused suspicion due to their nervous and unconvincing behavior.
The search of the car led to the discovery of a real arsenal of hidden drugs, including 80 ecstasy tablets, 36 grams of hashish, 17 grams of cocaine and 33 wraps of ketamine, all carefully divided into doses ready for dealing.

But the surprises don’t end there: hidden among their underwear, the officers also found over 1000 euros in cash, clearly the proceeds of drug sales already made. This brought the total value of the seizure to over 7,000 euros.

The two individuals, with a past already marked by precedents linked to drug dealing, were immediately arrested and made available to the Judicial Authority, awaiting trial.
The car, drugs and money were seized for further investigations, also aimed at identifying any accomplices or drug dealing networks involved.
