Anniversary of the translation of the Relics of Saint Matthew 2024 – Archdiocese

On the occasion of the 1070th anniversary of the transfer of the relics to Salerno of the apostle and evangelist Matteopatron saint of the city, which occurred in 954, Don Felice Moliterno, parish priest of the Cathedral, has organized a series of events that begin on Sunday 5 May at the Diocesan Museum with the inauguration of the exhibition “Between heaven and earth” and culminate with the rite of collecting the manna, after the *Solemn pontifical meeting which will be presided over by HE Mons. Andrea Bellandi at 7.00 pm.

*The solemn pontifical celebration in the Cathedral will be broadcast live on Digital Terrestrial channel 87, TDS Salerno.
