COSENZA In Cosenza, the Carabinieri of the Cosenza Centro station arrested in flagrante delicto for attempted extortion of a 64-year-old local man, known to the Police Force. The military, during a prepared territorial control service, promptly intervened inside a construction site, ascertaining that the man, shortly before, had reiterated a request for an extortionate bribe. The arrest was validated by the investigating judge at the Court of Cosenza, placing him under house arrest at his home.
