Yet another name appears linked to Milan for next season’s bench. The Rossoneri club could be interested.
It’s becoming a real one soap opera the one linked to the name of the next coach of Milan. One thing is certain: Stefano Pioli will not continue his adventure, despite a contract worth around 4 million net per season which will end in June 2025.
For the after Pioli the profile of seemed to be in pole position Julen Lopetegui. A name that the Milan supporters didn’t like at all: a real revolt broke out on social media, complete with a message from the South Curve. It cannot be ruled out that there could also be a protest against the owners at San Siro on Sunday, on the occasion of Milan-Genoa.

Forbes names names Lopetegui, Fonseca and Van Bommel as candidates for the bench, but also as examples of profiles that do not inflame the square and that would be below expectations for such a glorious club in search of new successes, both sporting and commercial.
The only name associated with the Milan which would be suitable for the Rossoneri club is that of Roberto De Zerbi, recently brought closer to the Rossoneri again after the slowdown for Lopetegui. But there is always the worry of the 14-15 million to be paid to Brighton to free him from his onerous contract.
This is why the magazine made in the USA launches a new candidacy, much closer than expected: “Another ideal profile for Milan is Vincenzo Italiano. A coach who would cost even less than De Zerbi. He led Fiorentina to a European final and will probably play another one in a few weeks.”
