arrests and suspects between Brescia and Cremona – Telecolor

Brescia. It all started in July 2023 at a driving school in Verolanuova, in Lower Bresciana, when the police had sealed off the place due to the so-called easy driving licenses issue. Today four precautionary custody orders were carried out against people accused of having formed a criminal association aimed at obtaining type B driving licenses and driver qualification cards for the professional driving of heavy vehicles. According to the prosecution, they rigged the exams to obtain the driving license through a suggestion system: four people were arrested and over 60 investigated, including several from Cremona. A real criminal association, which would be headed by Jonathan Locatelli, owner of four driving schools in Verolanuova, San Paolo and Borgo San Giacomo in the Brescia area and in Castelverde in the Cremonese area. The “telephonist”, the remote prompter for exams, was also identified among the first cases in Italy. There are more than sixty suspects and given the vastness of the phenomenon and the social importance of the operation, with diffusion at a national level, further investigative investigations are underway, with the analysis of over 2,000 driving licenses obtained in the Brescia area by individuals coming from the entire national territory.
