Two fatal accidents at work today within a few hours, both in the Neapolitan area. The first tragedy occurred in Lettere, where a 57-year-old worker, according to an initial reconstruction, fell from the third floor of a building around which a construction site was being set up. The accident occurred late in the morning, in via Depugliano, where the police intervened.
A second dead in Casalnuovo
After the worker who died in Lettere, this morning the Carabinieri of Casalnuovo intervened in another accident at work. A 60-year-old laborer died on a construction site in Viale dei Tigli, in Casalnuovo. Rescued, he died upon arrival at hospital. Investigations are underway to reconstruct the dynamics.

A worker also died in the Syracuse area
Another fatal accident occurred on a construction site in Floridia, in the Syracuse area. The victim was a 59-year-old worker from the company who was carrying out work on the roof of the house. For reasons yet to be ascertained, a failure occurred and the worker fell and was then overwhelmed by the material. The rescue efforts by the 118 staff were useless. The Nil Carabinieri intervened and are collecting elements to ascertain the dynamics. The Syracuse Prosecutor’s Office, which opened a file on the incident, seized the area.
