The choice to nominate the lawyer Aldo De Benedittis as mayor of Campobasso and the lawyer Nico Balice as mayor of Termoli was welcomed by Azione. Luigi Valente, Regional Secretary of Azione Molise, declared that these are “shareable decisions that offer citizens the possibility of electing serious and prepared professionals, capable of leading their respective communities with competence and balance.”
Valente underlined that De Benedittis has demonstrated his experience as an administrator in the capital city, and his neutrality with respect to the parties will ensure the balance necessary to guarantee unity and harmony between the lists supporting his candidacy. “The President of the Regional Council, Francesco Roberti, deserves recognition for having identified the right figure to overcome a stalemate in the centre-right and guarantee an effective electoral campaign in Campobasso”.
Similarly, Valente commented that Nico Balice’s candidacy as mayor of Termoli represents “the guarantee of continuity of an administrative path that has brought excellent results and tangible benefits to the city”. Therefore, a discussion was started with the mayoral candidates De Benedittis and Balice on important issues for the citizens of Campobasso and Termoli, in order to highlight them in the electoral programme. According to Valente, the Molise centre-right thus demonstrates that it “cares about the good administration of our cities, without falling into harmful cross-vetoes, extreme personalities or sterile stances”.
Finally, Valente announced that Azione is available to work to support the candidacies of Aldo De Benedittis as mayor of Campobasso and Nico Balice as mayor of Termoli.
