A comment published under a Facebook post, in which the image portraying the mayoral candidate Fabio Romito in the company of some young people from Gioventù Nazionale is reversed. This is the complaint of the candidate for Municipality 1 of Bari, Davide Picci. The photo has a clear reference to the 1945 episodes of Piazzale Loreto and the end of Mussolini.
“I will file a complaint, like our candidate for mayor – declared Picci – and I will not allow there to be an aura of silence on this matter”.
“Wishing hanging on children, in some cases not even adults, is repugnant – declared Fabio Romito – The obtuse and rancorous attacks have begun, the effect of an electoral campaign that agitates the ghosts of fascism, instead of discussing the programs for the future of our City. My solidarity goes to the young people of Gioventù Nazionale and to all the young people of the centre-right, forced to suffer these unacceptable pressures. We will monitor all cyberbullying actions with a team of lawyers, coordinated by the lawyer Francesco Colonna Venisti, and we will report them because we have not forgotten the dramatic results, caused, even recently, by social attacks“.
