In Prato, Lega chose the candidate for an ideas competition: the 55-year-old won with the ‘resident card’ and enters the list
The Carroccio had offered a place on the list to anyone who presented “the most innovative idea” for the city of Prato. The deadline was set for April 30th. In the end, the winner was Carlo Andrea Pozzi, 55 years old, resident of the historic center and professional in the field of training.
Pozzi proposed the introduction of a “resident card”, at a cost per year to be evaluated in detail, which would allow Prato to access museums for free, to visit temporary exhibitions with a 50% reduction, a discount always of 50% of the municipal parking rates, free parking on Sundays and free parking in the area of residence.
Regarding his participation, the candidate stated: “The truth is that I was calmly sitting on the sofa when I saw the League’s post on Facebook and responded. I didn’t imagine that this spontaneous decision would lead to this.” Pozzi has accepted the candidacy for the Prato municipal council on the League list, where he will run as an independent. He also decided to join the League.
