It was inaugurated on the morning of April 30, 2024 new headquarters of Conflavoro Lombardia. It is located in the center of Milan, a stone’s throw from Piazza del Duomo: it is in via Monte Napoleone 8 that the employers’ association that supports the requests and interests of Italian companies has chosen to have its new spaces (joining the 17 offices of the confederation, already present in 17 regions, 66 provinces and the 140 offices of the associations belonging to Conflavoro PMI ). Attending the inauguration of the Milan office were – in addition to the hosts: Roberto CapobiancoNational President of Conflavoro e Giuseppe LigottiCoordinator of Conflavoro Lombardia – Alessia CappelloCouncilor for Economic Development and Labor Policies of the Municipality of Milan, e Attilio FontanaPresident of the Lombardy Region.

In the presence of Conflavoro representatives from other Lombardy cities, it was he who did the honours Capobianco who reiterated the association’s commitment to involving other entrepreneurs and to be at their service: “I know their problems, being an entrepreneur myself”, declared the President of Conflavoro shortly after the ribbon cutting that officially inaugurated the Milan office. “We ‘spied’ on Lombardy’s initiatives for bring good practices to other regions too. In particular, in this historical moment, the difficulties of companies concern the search for people and staff training: in this direction Conflavoro Lombardia will propose targeted paths”, added Capobianco, who in Italy it represents around 81 thousand associated companies of various economic sectors of the country (Manufacturing is the most represented sector).

Anyone who creates job opportunities is always welcome”, began Cappello. “Proximity to businesses is key, especially for issues such as technological transition and lack of skills. We therefore need to help companies seize opportunities and if we love Italy we must love businesses and what they do; this is why the institutions want to be at their side”.

Satisfaction was also expressed by Fontana, who reiterated the excellent results of Lombardy, which has become the most attractive and productive area in Europe after Covid: “We have the best entrepreneurs and workers”, declared the President of Lombardy. “And then here are the conditions that have allowed subsidiarity and collaboration between public and private to be achieved in a concrete way and not just in words”. Fontana also praised the ability of local businesses, in particular praising their “great flexibility”, necessary to face daily problems and new challenges (“They are opportunities”, said the Lombard Governor). “On the part of Lombardy there is, as always, the utmost desire to collaborate. And so we want to invite to look to the future with enthusiasm, stopping with dark-toned stories. The hope is that the future will be better than the present.” The new headquarters of Conflavoro Lombardia is a point from which to start again.
