Trentino keeps its guard high in combating attempts at mafia infiltration into the provincial economy. This is the message launched by the Permanent Observatory on crime and possible infiltrations into the economy at the periodic meeting which took place this morning at the Government Palace. The meeting was chaired by the deputy prefect Massimo Di Donato in the presence of representatives of the provincial institutions, law enforcement agencies, production categories and trade unions.

During the meeting – we read in a note – the importance of training and information was discussed, the need to precisely substantiate reports of anomalies, the need to keep sensitive sectors such as the concession of quarries and of the mountain pastures.

A seminar will be held in the last week of September which will see the participation of experts from the Financial Intelligence Unit for Italy and the Guardia di Finanza as speakers, and will be aimed at members of the professional orders of notaries, lawyers and of the accountants of Trento and Rovereto.
