The Municipality of Aprilia informs that for the 2023/24 school year, economic contributions will be granted to families for the school transport of disabled students certified pursuant to law 104/1992, residing in the Municipality of Aprilia and attending secondary school institutions level II, state or private, three-year courses aimed at fulfilling the right/duty to professional education and training or level II courses at the CPIA.
In order to receive the contribution, the student must have the disability certification and the certification issued by the competent local health authority.
Based on the applications received, the administration will grant the contribution, which will be calculated on a kilometer basis and based on the number of days present at school, certified by the reference institution. For each disabled student requesting, the contribution may cover a maximum of 30 kilometers round trip for each day and may not exceed the amount of 3000 euros for each user, according to the average calculated expense of 0.50 euros per km.
The request must be submitted by 12.00 on 31 May 2024 via certified e-mail or at the protocol office.
“The service, made possible thanks to the contribution received from the Lazio Region – underlines the councilor for social services Veronica Napolitano – has the aim of promoting the mobility of students with disabilities and encouraging their access to educational or training institutions. This contribution is in fact granted to cover the expenses incurred to guarantee the student’s school attendance and will be granted both to those who have the possibility of traveling by private means of transport and to those who use public urban and extra-urban transport”.
