Sanremo. On the occasion of the administrative and European elections of 8 and 9 June, the council
the municipality has decided to identify, for the release of concessions for the occupation of public land for political and electoral propaganda activities through gazebos and banquets, the following areas for the period 8 May – 7 June:
– piazza Salvo d’Acquisto n. 1 station adjacent to the South East bar
– Mouth n. 1 station in front of the Coop entrance
– Piazza E. Sanremesi (not available on market days) 1 station near Pro Infantia c/o climb via Giordano Bruno
– San Martino (not available on market days) 2 stations on the bank side adjacent to number 227
– Piazza San Siro n. 1 station on the west side of the church
– Corso N. Sauro n. 1 station on the Conad entrance side
– Imperatrice course n. 2 stations adjacent to the Primavera statue, adjacent to the underpass
– Colombo square n. 2 stations adjacent to 2 fountains, in front of Lollipop ice cream shop
– via Escoffier n. 1 adjacent civil station. 3
– Poggio, Piazza Santa Margherita n. 1 station adjacent to district 5
– Coldirodi n. 1 station via Umberto 1
– Bussana n. 1 station Piazza Don Lombardi Monte
– Verezzo n. 2 San Donato/Sant’Antonio stations
In order to grant the areas, the applications must be drawn up on a specific form, duly completed in every part. Applications must be submitted to the Elections Office of the Municipality of Sanremo: via PEC to [email protected], or in person, Protocol Service, Palazzo Bellevue, Corso Cavallotti 59, 1st floor, from Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm, electoral office in Corso Garibaldi, 1 (Palafiori) from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 12.30pm. Applications made using other methods will not be considered.
Characteristics of the granted area: any occupation
– can have a maximum extension of 9 m2 overall
– must allow free pedestrian transit
– in areas where the roadway is occupied, it must guarantee a transit lane for emergency vehicles no less than m wide. 3.50
Installation and removal of equipment and structures: for reasons of safety and public order, the installation and removal of all equipment and structures, on the scheduled date, must be carried out no earlier than 8am and no later than 10pm.
Assignment criteria
– the assignment of the areas takes place in order of registration of the requests
– the applicant who has never used the area or who, in the case of multiple requests, will have used it on the most distant date, will be entitled to the area even if previously requested by another political force
– for reasons of public order, where the areas intended for banquets/gazebos are close to areas intended for electoral rallies, no concessions will be granted to different political forces, unless the PS authority decides differently: priority will be given to the request for a rally even if carried out later
Revocation for reasons of public order
for reasons of public order the occupation, or part of it, may be revoked without notice by a Public Safety Officer.
Agreements with public security authorities it is advisable, as indicated in the circular of the Ministry of the Interior n. 1943/V of the 8th. 4. 1980, that the promoters of demonstrations or rallies or occupations with banquets and gazebos agree on the time and place with the public security authorities.
Compliance with current provisions regarding electoral propaganda within the spaces granted, in the period of 30 days prior to the consultation, all provisions regarding the conduct of electoral propaganda must be respected, with particular reference to the prohibition on posting posters outside the designated and assigned spaces.
