Aeroitalia celebrates the success of the new routes from Perugia

Aeroitalia recently revealed the encouraging results obtained in the first month of operation of the new air routes connecting Perugia airport with the airports of Bergamo and Linate. The introduction of these flights has been well received, both by passengers and airport services, reflecting the success and growing demand for these connections.

Since the launch of operations, Aeroitalia has transported over 2,000 passengers on these routes, a number that highlights the high interest and appreciation for the new connections. The adaptation of operations and timetables implemented in recent weeks has led to a significant increase in efficiency, with aircraft occupancy rates now exceeding 50%. This indicator is a testimony to the validity of the strategies adopted by the company and the trust placed by customers.

In terms of punctuality, Aeroitalia has recorded a notable improvement since mid-April, with a percentage of flights departing on time exceeding 90%. This is the result of careful management and optimization of timetables, underlining the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards of service. Furthermore, the regularity of the service has proven to be excellent, with a percentage that, since 25 March, the date of the start of operations, has been 97%.

Encouraged by the positive results and success of these routes, Aeroitalia is thrilled to announce the introduction of two new destinations for the summer season. Starting from June, passengers will be able to enjoy direct flights from Umbria Airport to the fascinating towns of Lamezia Terme and Olbia, with two weekly frequencies for each destination. Tickets for these new routes are already available for purchase on the airline’s official website.

These innovations not only broaden Aeroitalia’s offer but also confirm the company’s commitment to promoting air mobility to and from Umbria, contributing to the development of tourism and the local economy. With these new connections, Aeroitalia continues to consolidate its presence in the air transport sector, guaranteeing its customers increasingly diverse and convenient travel options.
