A Scottish delegation will be present in Cremona during the event European marketa highly anticipated traveling event organized by the national Anva Confesercenti which will return to the city from 3 to 5 May 2024 between Corso Campi, Corso Garibaldi, Piazza Roma and Piazza Città Nuova.

So appointment with over forty exhibitors of food and artisan products typical of European regions: from Austria to Poland, from Spain to Belgium, from Scotland to Poland, from Germany to Italian traditions and excellence. A true traveling village with selected exhibitors, which aims to bring the highest quality craftsmanship and street food delicacies to the historic centres, the result of a careful and long selection.

Scotland is the protagonist

There Scotland promises, with its delegation, to be one of the protagonists of the event, as in the 2023 edition, coloring Corso Garibaldi with the colors of the classic Royal Stewart tartan, widely known and easily recognisable. In the colorful Scottish area, for the three days of the event, many will find space products of Scottish craftsmanship and culture: craft beer, apple cider, a selection of whiskies, shortbreads, Celtic style mugs, the sought after haggis, fudges, Irn Bru and then many woolen accessories such as hats, scarves and bags including wool, cashmere, tweed and finally a selection of accessories in Harris Tweed, the Hebridean wool known and appreciated throughout the world for its quality, with which wonderful and colorful bags are produced.

Everything you need to spend relaxing hours, listening to music bagpipes, try some Scottish dance steps or taste and learn about the different types of beer and whisky. How can you give up a stout or an India pale ale while listening to bagpipes? We will also talk of the colors of the Italian tartan, designed by Michael Lemetti and unmissable in official ceremonies in Scotland. The Clan Italia is a point of reference for all Italians living in Scotland and who feel an integral part of the Italian community.

The traveling European Market event, which crosses the whole of Italy, is organized by Anva and Confesercenti. The Scottish area is instead managed by A Taste of Scotland – Scotland on Tour. Entrance is freestarting Friday 3 May until the late evening of Sunday 5 May 2024.
