Off to the Space Young Club: the first Italian space hub for student start-ups in Castellammare

The Space Young Hub, the first Italian hub for start-ups for students in the space sector, opens tomorrow, Friday 3 May, at 4pm, in the Francesco Severi scientific high school in Castellammare. The initiative is part of the activities of the broader “Space Village” project, created by the start-up Space Holidays in collaboration with the Campania Aerospace District – Dac, Intesa Sanpaolothe societies Space Factory, Ali Spa, Marscenter, with the patronage of ASI, the Italian Space Agency.
The Space Village project has the main objective of bringing secondary school students closer to the world of space technologies, and more generally of innovation, by creating a tutoring path for the launch of new start-ups.”young” and a process of growth of youth enterprise.
Representatives from the scientific and institutional world will be present at the event: Diana Carosellatechnical coordinator of the “Stabia Space Village” Network Agreement; Elena Cavaliere, head teacher of the “F. Pantaleo (Torre Del Greco); Pascal Scientific High School (Pompeii); ITIS R. Elia (Castellammare di Stabia); IIS Mattei – Fortunato (Eboli); Plinio Seniore Classical High School (Castellammare di Stabia).
Space Village received the patronage of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station of Naples, Unico Energia, Graded, Metropolis, Gruppo AET and Garden Club Stabiae: and the Vacanze Spaziali business project was admitted to the Invitalia subsidized financing program: Investments for the development and consolidation of the production sector linked to the Italian cultural heritage (Priority Axis II of the National Operational Program “Culture and Development” 2014-2020).
