Naples, “For Mediterranean Diet” begins on May 3rd

NAPLES – “For Mediterranean Diet – The international agora of the Mediterranean diet and healthy lifestyle” promoted by the UNESCO Chair – Health education and sustainable development directed by Professor Annamaria Colao will open on Friday 3 May at 5pm

The event will open with initial greetings from Matteo Lorito, Rector of the Federico II University of Naples, Orazio Schillaci, Minister of Health, Stefania Giannini, UNESCO Deputy Director General for Education, Gaetano Manfredi, Mayor of the Municipality of Naples, Giuseppe Longo , General Director of AOU Federico II of Naples, Ugo Trama, Campania Region, Giovanni Esposito, President of the School of Medicine and Surgery, Federico II University of Naples, Annamaria Colao, Director of the UNESCO Chair “Health Education and Sustainable Development of the University “Federico II” of Naples who will open the proceedings with the session entitled “The Mediterranean Diet from the past to the future” with the reports of David Atchoarena, Executive Director of the Academy of the World Health Organization (WHO) and Philippe Pypaert, Head of the MAB Program (UNESCO).
