In the late afternoon yesterday, Wednesday 1 May 2024, the Fire Brigade intervened between the junctions of the A4 in Montecchio Maggiore And Vicenza West due to the overthrow of a lorry ended up sideways on the road.

Around 5.15pm yesterday, Wednesday 1 May 2024, the Vicenza firefighters intervened on the A4between the Montecchio Maggiore and Vicenza Ovest junctions, due to a articulated lorry overturned on the roadfollowing a car accident.
Luckily, no person was injured, and the firefighters managed to make the area safe. The accident resulted in the closure of the east side of the road for a few hours, causing several queues.
The movement of the truck
The people involved were assisted by Suem staff. Also on site were the traffic police and auxiliary highway personnel. After about two hours, firefighters managed to remove the vehiclethanks also to the help of cranes by the highway staff.
