A Scottish delegation will be present in Cremona during the European Market event, a highly anticipated traveling event organized by the national Anva Confesercenti which will return to the city from 3 to 5 May between Corso Campi, Corso Garibaldi, Piazza Roma and Piazza Città Nuova. Appointment therefore with over forty exhibitors of food and artisan products typical of European regions: from Austria to Poland, from Spain to Belgium, from Scotland to Poland, from Germany to Italian traditions and excellence. A true traveling village with selected exhibitors, which aims to bring the highest quality craftsmanship and street food delicacies to the historic centres, the result of a careful and long selection.

Scotland promises, with its delegation, to be one of the protagonists of the event, as in the 2023 edition, coloring Corso Garibaldi with the colors of the classic Royal Stewart tartan, widely known and easily recognisable. In the colorful Scottish area, for the three days of the event, there will be space for many products of Scottish craftsmanship and culture: craft beer, apple cider, a selection of whiskies, shortbreads, Celtic-style mugs, the sought-after haggis, fudges , Irn Bru and then many wool accessories such as hats, scarves and bags including wool, cashmere, tweed and finally a selection of accessories in Harris Tweed, the Hebridean wool known and appreciated throughout the world for its quality, with which they are produced beautiful and colorful bags. Everything you need to spend some relaxing hours, listen to the music of the bagpipes, try a few Scottish dance steps or taste and learn about the different types of beer and whisky. How can you give up a stout or an India pale ale while listening to bagpipes? We will also talk about the colors of the Italian tartan, created by Michael Lemetti and inevitable in official ceremonies in Scotland. The Clan Italia is a point of reference for all Italians living in Scotland and who feel an integral part of the Italian community.

The traveling European Market event, which crosses the whole of Italy, is organized by Anva and Confesercenti. The Scottish area is curated by A Taste of Scotland – Scotland on Tour. Entry is free, starting on Friday 3 May until the late evening of Sunday 5 May.
