In the city of Rome, from 1993 to 1995, he dealt with the Scientific Police.
Subsequently, he carried out support activities for the joint investigative action against organized crime, including mafia-type ones, then managing the application of special protection measures in favor of witnesses and collaborators of justice, until 2005.
For a long period, from 2007 to 2016, he dealt with issues of territorial control at the Central Anti-Crime Directorate of the State Police. He is employed in this operational sector after important experience in the Criminal Analysis Service, where he is trained in analytical procedures. At the DCA, in addition to the general issues of prevention, it takes care of the ideational and implementation phases of the “Mercurio” project, the on-board terminal now present on the dashboards of the Steering Wheels and through which the patrols carry out numerous checks autonomously, transferring them to the operations rooms. multimedia resources relating to ongoing emergencies in the area.
Since 2016, for 3 years, he has held the role of Vicar of the Police Commissioner of Massa Carrara.
From 2019 to 2020, at the Rome Police Headquarters, he elaborates and implements important projects in the control of the territory in the Capital, collaborating in the drafting of the Ministerial Decree which regulates the territorial articulation of that Police Headquarters into Districts and Public Security Commissariats: a particularly inspired by the close synergy between public safety and urban safety and the consequent territorial collaborations between the PS Districts and the Municipalities of Rome Capital.
In January 2020 he was appointed Senior Director of the State Police.
In the three-year period 2021 – 2023 he holds the position of Commander of the Rome Capital Police.
From today he is Police Commissioner of the province of Siena.
