Black day on the motorway, four accidents in a few hours which created traffic disruption on Wednesday 1 May 2024. The first crash in the morning on the A12, four injured after the driver of an Audi car smashed through the guardrail near the junction of Chiavari. The toll booth remained closed all day for repair work and four people were taken to hospital under yellow code.

Another crash in the afternoon, around 5.30pm, on the A10, just before the connection to the A7, in this case two injured people taken to Villa Scassi under yellow code, the driver of an SUV that crashed and a passenger.

Finally, in the evening, shortly after 7pm, on the A10 motorway, between the Genoa Airport toll booth and Pegli, two road accidents occurred within a hundred meters of each other. The occupants suffered only minor injuries and got out of the vehicles independently. The Fire Brigade, which intervened both from the Multedo detachment and from the headquarters, ensured the safety of the area and the vehicles. The highway remained closed to traffic for the short time necessary to remove the vehicles. 118 and Highway Police on site.
