Challand-Saint-Anselme: action will be taken to protect Pesan

The Challand-Saint-Anselme City Council met on Monday, April 29, 2024, to discuss seven agenda items.

Regarding the general municipal master plan, one was approved non-substantial variant for the works to mitigate the risk of the Pesan flow, with the imposition of the pre-arranged constraint on expropriation. There were no comments. The work will be carried out along the Rivo Vadacca, with a cost of around 2 million euros.

Approved on Report financial year 2023. The surplus amounts to 1,336,578.12 euros, of which 185,088.14 are intended for investment. Therefore the total of the available part is 706,415.95 euros.

The economic-financial plan of the urban solid waste management service has been approved (Tari) for the year 2024, with the related tariffs.

The rates have been redetermined integrated water service year 2024, with a slight increase relating to the tax on purification.

The second one was approved change to the budget forecast 2024/26 and the Simplified Single Programming Document. The most significant investments are 105 thousand euros for the purchase of a new school bus, 72 thousand euros for works on the walkways in the Chatillonet hamlet, 126 thousand euros for the construction of a new car park also in Chatillonet and for an internal guardrail in the Tilly hamlet, 51,000 euros for furnishings of the Tata family headquarters (50% will be covered by regional contribution).

Approved on Real estate disposal plan 2024/26. A residential property in the Rivère hamlet will be put up for sale, appraised at 30 thousand, as it has no relevance for the organisation.

Finally, the draft agreement was approved with the Consortium of Municipalities of the Valle d’Aosta mountain catchment area, the Sub-ATO Evançon and the Municipality of Emarèse for the execution of the works to complete and adapt theintermunicipal aqueduct of the Ayas Valley, Saint-Vincent (Col de Joux) – Challand-Saint-Anselme (Arbaz hamlet) section. In this way we will try to overcome the water criticality of the hamlet, which has lasted for some years.
