The philosopher Umberto Galimberti closes the first three-year period of Time Rediscoveredhooking contextually The Time of Childhood, both projects supported within the Right to Education Plan of the Municipality of Cremona thanks to the city’s Comprehensive Institutes Network led by the Cinque Comprehensive Institute. Professor Umberto Galimberti will speak on Tuesday 7 May at 5pm in the Sala Maffei in the Chamber of Commerce with a lecture on the role of school and family in the education of children and young people entitled “The education of young people between school and family”.
Known for his profound and enlightening thought in the field of contemporary philosophy, Umberto Galimberti is an authoritative philosopher, psychoanalyst and essayist who has left a significant imprint on intellectual debate. His interdisciplinary research, which ranges from philosophy to psychology, from anthropology to sociology, has made him a point of reference for anyone interested in understanding the complexity of the human being and the society in which we live. Thanks to his vast knowledge and his ability to communicate in an accessible way, in the Cremonese lectio Galimberti will bring out new perspectives and stimulate critical reflection on fundamental issues related to education.
In particular, it will invite us to reflect on the decisive role that the social, family and school context plays in shaping the education of children and young people. Following the conference by the philosopher Galimberti, the proposals continue in the context of the Il Tempo dell’Infazione project: children and families will be protagonists on Wednesday 8th, Thursday 16th and Wednesday 22nd May at 4pm of the initiative “The city that breathes“, walks to discover vegetable gardens, urban woods and wild meadows, the first starting from the nursery school, Agazzi, the second from the Gallina nursery school, the third from the Lacchini nursery school. Saturday 11 May, at 3 pm at the Colonie Padane, will be held”Super healthy game”, an experience designed by the Cremona Asst specifically for the little ones. A playful and sensorial opportunity that will lead them to discover the five senses in a healthy and fun gaming environment.
On Wednesday 22 May, at 5.30 pm at the Monteverdi Theatre, Antonella Questa will lead a journey through the history of black pedagogy with the conference show “Bad children don’t exist“. It will be a unique opportunity to better understand the violent educational methods of the past and reflect on their impact on the education of children.
Finally, two moments for “experts” and for those who want to delve deeper into the theme of early childhood, dedicated to learning about the Zerosei Integrated System: on Thursday 23 May the experiences of Cremona, Crema and Mantua will meet within the Territorial Pedagogical Coordination, while on Monday 27 May the appointment is with teachers and parents of municipal nursery schools and nursery schools for a meeting entitled “Laboratory for the construction of a pedagogical manifesto of the municipal Zerosei Integrated System”.
