On the one hand the great experience of Natalya, master of submissions and in any case with a decent background in martial arts having practiced Jiu Jitsu for years, on the other hand Lola Vice less expert in the ring, but with a better background in MMA having tried her hand for years in Bellator before arriving in WWE. Another advantage for Lola Vice is certainly the presence of Shayna Baszler, former UFC champion who trained her best to get to this match.
Nattie started better than her opponent, almost immediately managing to trap her in submission holds with particular attention to the lower limbs, for her part, Lola Vice responded with direct and well-placed blows, managing to quickly free herself from every hold. The action also moved outside the ring a couple of times and both used the ring post to do more damage. Natalya managed to apply a figure four using the ring post, but the maneuver was interrupted by Shayna Baszler with a half error by Karmen Petrovic in an attempt to stop her. Back in the ring Nattie locked the Sharpshooter, her and the Hart family’s trademark, and there seemed to be no hope for Lola Vice until at ringside Baszler locked Petrovic in the Kirifuda Clutch. At that point the “Canadian Connection” had the upper hand and Natalya preferred to save her friend and protégé by leaving the ring, but upon her return to the ring she found Lola Vice ready to wait for her and ended up KO due to a powerful rotating right hand. Great affirmation for Lola Vice who celebrated with Shayna in the center of the ring.
