Latte Trento: turnover +5%

TRENT. Important signs of recovery are arriving for the Trentino dairy sector. This is confirmed by the numbers of Latte Trento, a cooperative consortium that is a point of reference for the sector with 140 employees and 180 contributing members. “The best budget ever”, as it was defined in the annual meeting at the Interbrennero auditorium at the interporto, in which the 2023 accounts were illustrated.

These are the numbers illustrated during the meeting by the president Renato Costaby the general manager Sergio Paoliby the administrative manager Martina Failoni and by the president of the board of statutory auditors Marco Ghelli.

The company has achieved a turnover of over 65 milliongrowing by 5% in 2023 compared to 2022, a profit of 110 thousand euros and a value of remuneration to members equal to 41 million euros, for 53.7 million liters contributed overall by farmers. Thanks above all to the good sales performance and the product positioning strategy, from milk to dairy products and yoghurt through cheeses including Trentingrana, which made it possible to overcome the critical issues of recent years mainly due to the surge in costs for energy, materials raw materials and animal feed. The result was helped by the turnover of Trevilatte, a company linked to the parent company, which exceeded 10 million euros, bringing the consolidated turnover to over 75 million.
