Let’s summarize the possible evolution of the day by points:
- early morning with more compact clouds over northern Tuscany with the first light rains especially in the provinces of Massa Carrara, Lucca, Pistoia, Prato and Florence;
- by mid-day rains, always generally weak, will approach a large part of the Region from the south-west with an initial influence on the coast and rapid transfer also to inland areas;
- always from mid-day and then in the early afternoon arrival of the most significant part of the disturbance with even heavy rainfall moving from the central southern coast (provinces of Livorno and Grosseto) towards the north-east, not excluding some storms arriving from the Grosseto area;
- in the early afternoon, more significant rainfall is possible in central-northern Tuscany, here too without excluding thunderstorms, especially along the coast and in the immediate hinterland;
- towards the evening there is the possibility of temporary clearing especially between the provinces of Pisa (south), Livorno, Grosseto and Siena, elsewhere residual rainfall,
- possible new storm nuclei forming at the end of the day in northern Tuscany.
In general, precipitation should be more consistent in the area outlined in red on the graphic or in the central-western band.
A more decisive evolution of bad weather is therefore possible between late morning and mid-afternoon.
