We receive and publish the note from CGIL Molise for Labor Day
On this May 1st the union has the duty to bring political debate back to the center and
social issues such as peace, social equity and safe and dignified WORK. Themes
also central for our territories which are more or less directly affected by the effects
economic and geopolitical wars and which are affected by industrial crises (those already in
be and those envisaged) which have increased the climate of precariousness and uncertainty for now
too many years throughout southern Italy and Molise. Local concern increases
if we consider the implementation delays for the grounding of programming funds
ordinary and extraordinary, for the discussion of active and passive labor policies and for
the provision of essential services such as health, education, mobility and infrastructure. Furthermore, there is
the need to implement a serious national and local policy to put a stop to it
to the terrible series of accidents at work which unfortunately also characterized
the Molise crime news in recent weeks. The holds deserve a separate discussion
of position of government political groups compared to what we consider to be one
unfortunate bill for the “weaker” regions of our country system:
differentiated autonomy. The workers, especially those from Molise, to celebrate

reflection which will see the union engaged in discussions with local and provincial institutions
and regional ones of Abruzzo and Molise on the issues of sustainable development of the territory
combined with the proposal of dignified, stable and safe work. The appointment is for
tomorrow in San Salvo – 9.30 am – at the Sports Hall in via Ferdinando
Magellan. “In a moment of difficulty like this – declared the Secretary
General of the CGIL Molise Paolo De Socio – we are not fascinated by the suggestions that
they relaunch cold institutional mergers between different territories of Abruzzo and Molise but we believe
it is important to create synergies for the provision of services and infrastructure programming
shared and to network the institutional and productive realities that exist in the Chieti area
and on the industrial area of Termoli and Molise. Furthermore – concludes De Socio – we should
try to structure a high-level discussion for the networking of realities in
able to contribute to local development with the strength of the long levers of knowledge

energy, encouraging interaction between institutions, social partners and stakeholders
