Messina, Lo Giudice against Siracusano and Musolino

“I have read the note and seen the joint video of Senator Dafne Musolino and the Honorable Matilde Siracusano and, given its patheticness, we cannot help but reply“. This was declared by the regional coordinator of South calls North Danilo Lo Giudice. “Hearing from Musolino and Siracusano that the famous “Madonnina pact” (votes in the 2019 European elections and in exchange laws to eliminate the shacks) never existed brings out the hypocrisy of both and at the same time confirms their role as non-partisan extras having neither art (legislative power, there Siracusano without a cohesive political group on the proposal alias Berlusconi) nor part (votes, i.e. the 50 thousand that we have undertaken to ensure that Musolino achieves in the Forza Italia lists by putting on the face and credibility of Cateno De Luca)”, underlines Lo Giudice.

“It was I who mediated between Cateno De Luca and Gianfranco Miccichè so that this agreement could be reached. Senator Musolino perhaps forgot when during the electoral campaign for the 2019 European elections she herself spoke from the stage about the Madonnina Pact, aka the commitment to obtain 50 thousand preferences in exchange for the approval of the recovery law. A pact signed in broad daylight and also sanctioned during a public rally in Piazza Duomo on 24 May 2019 when both the Hon. Miccichè that President Berlusconi in telephone connection. Just to refresh someone’s memory, I would like to remind you of what Berlusconi said on that occasion, which we quote literally: “I hope that after these elections, thanks to a good success by Forza Italia, we will be able to return to government soon and also work to free Messina from the slums, an incredible reality that I didn’t know about but which must be resolved quickly”. The Hon. Siracusano had never spoken about the barracks to the leader of his party nor had he therefore ever started a legislative process for its resolution. The first bill the Hon. Siracusano presented it in 2018, when Forza Italia was in opposition but Musolino must have gotten confused, and only because as Siracusano herself reports in the text of the bill:

“Due to the very serious sanitary-environmental situation, the mayor of Messina, Cateno De Luca, has issued the contingent and urgent ordinance n. 163 of 6 August 2018, for the clearance and demolition of all housing structures in the rehabilitation areas. By 31 October 2018, the eviction of all people and things from the residential structures in the rehabilitation areas must be carried out and the sites must be fenced, made safe and monitored at the same time. The ordinance also provided for the demolition, by 31 December 2018, of any building in the identified areas”, highlights Lo Giudice.

“This was the position taken by Cateno De Luca as mayor of Messina to start the recovery process. Then the Madonnina Pact allowed us to go further. The agreement provided that the opposition, as usual, within the quotas that were due to the proposals that would be accepted, would turn the spotlight on the elimination. Forza Italia therefore, even though the opposition had made a commitment to raise this issue within Parliament, which happened“, remarks Lo Giudice.

Throughout this story we reiterate Senator Dafne Musolino and the Hon. Matilde Siracusano were simple extras. However, to Senator Musolino, who when it suited her as during the elections for the Senate she herself stated in the streets that she had sacrificed herself in the European elections to bring a great result to the city of Messina, today I say that you have honestly tired us. Senator, go ahead and denounce the notitia codicis of the exchange vote which guaranteed the city of Messina this historic result where Cateno De Luca and Miccichè were the dominus and she together with Siracusano were simple extras as per their respective CVs. Siracusano has already been rejected twice by the people of Messina, the first time it was the people of Palermo who saved it, the second time it was the Piedmontese. The story of Senator Musolino is well known and goes far beyond the story of Caligula who appointed her horse as senator, “ concludes Lo Giudice.
