Benevento, mayor Mastella asks Poste Italiane to open an office in the Capodimonte district

I had a constructive conversation with the general director of Poste Italiane Giuseppe Lasco. I asked him to open a post office in the Capodimonte district of the city of Benevento. This fundamental protection is necessary both due to the demographic size of the neighborhood and the widespread presence of the elderly population. It is unfair that some people pay for some hardships with the digitalisation of services or physiological obstacles to mobility”, wrote the mayor of Benevento Clemente Mastella in a note.

“A post office in Capodimonte would serve not only the already large user base of the district but also the myriad of neighboring districts: Cancelleria, Saglieta, San Cumano, Ponte Valentino, Masseria La Vipera, Acquafredda, Margiacca district. This is a volume approximately equal to a town of ten thousand inhabitants. I am sure that – knowing Poste Italiane’s sensitivity to the social value of investments and the spirit of service that has always animated this country’s company – the general director Lasco and the management of Poste have understood the meaning of my request and request. And I am confident that we will be able to achieve the result in a reasonable time”, concludes Mayor Mastella.
