On the occasion of the events for World Midwife Day, which occurs on Sunday 5 May, in Ravenna, on Friday 3 May, the book “Birth plots, between myths, philosophies, images and stories”, written by the philosopher and essayist Rossella Prezzo. The appointment is at 6pm, in the Omero Triossi classroom of the Santa Maria delle Croci hospital. The event, promoted by the “School of advanced training for women in government” and the association “Dalla parte dei Minori OdV”, will be an opportunity for discussion and in-depth analysis on the topic of birth, understood as the origin of humanity and life.
They will dialogue with the author Francesco Catania, director of the Obstetrics – Gynecology unit and Sara Zagonari, provincial director of family clinics. The president of the Order of Midwives will also speak, Oriana Gasperoni. The meeting will be coordinated by Giovanna Piaiapresident of the association “Dalla parte dei Minori OdV” and of the “Doverno Women’s Higher Education School Foundation” together with Marina Magnani, from the Women’s Bookshop in Milan.
