Pesaro.- Maybe Gianrico Carofiglio, one of the most loved writers in Italy, the next guest of ‘Incontri Capitali’ in Pesaro. Author of best-selling books translated all over the world and one of the most followed Italian crime writers of all time, Carofiglio will be in town on Friday 3 May to present his latest novel ‘The horizon of the night’ (Einaudi) in dialogue with the writer and literary critic Giulia Ciarapica at the Experimental Theatre.
The book marks the return of the popular lawyer Guido Guerrieri engaged in an enigmatic procedural adventure with an unparalleled pace that is intertwined with a sharp meditation on loss and regret. Pages where the lawyer Guerrieri, in retracing the personal events that involved him, questions himself about the time that has passed, the meaning of his profession and the very idea of justice.
The next appointment with the ‘Capital Encounters’ books will be Monday 6 May: guest Andrea Segrè which presents its ‘Globesity. The hunger for power‘ (Minerva Editions). The author converses with the journalist and writer Alfredo Antonaros (Pesaro, Palazzo Gradari – 6.30 pm). However, the meeting with was cancelled, for organizational reasons Alessandro Sallusti scheduled for the next day, Tuesday 7 May.
