Ferrarese, of Romanian origin, 31 years old, Valentina Ionita he is among the new faces emerging in the civic list ‘Alan Fabbri Mayor‘. He has decided to commit himself to his city by running for office in the Ferrara elections on 8 and 9 June. His goal: “To give voice to the new generations, bringing new, proactive and fresh ideas.”

Biography
“I was born in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, in 1992. Having lived in Ferrara since 2003 together with my family, this city quickly won my heart. Thanks to the love and support of my family, I have been fortunate to absorb both the rich Romanian culture and the welcoming Italian culture. Now I am an administrative employee at a company in Ferrara”.
The political choice
Since she was a child she says she has been fascinated by the world of politics and “my candidacy was born from the desire to give voice to the new generations, to bring fresh and proactive ideas to the city council. Thanks to the opportunity reserved for me by Alan Fabbri’s list, I decided to get involved and commit myself to creating a better future for all of us.”
Tourism
Ionita’s idea is to promote and enhance tourist resources, attract visitors and guarantee a memorable experience for those who choose to visit our city. “I think, for example, of the attractiveness of the new Darsena – he specifies -: I imagine a future in which it is not only a meeting point for the local community, but also a tourist destination. We could even consider the creation of a river port, to offer an even warmer welcome to visitors.”

Then there is the theme of the show, to enhance emerging artists and local culture. In this sense, the project is to “host ballets from various cultures of the world, local and international musicians, thus offering the inhabitants of Ferrara and visitors a unique experience that celebrates diversity and art. At the same time, it is essential to protect the citizens who live and live in the area, ensuring that events are organized respecting the tranquility and safety of the local community”.
