PESARO – Eleven days and then we leave. With the closure of the Serie A New Energy regular season, and with the pairings already defined, the fever rises playoffs. The best of three matches will be played, with the eventual home match of the best placed at the end of the 30th day of the championship.
Italservice Pesaro therefore, finishing eighth after the defeat in the last match against Meta Catania, will challenge league leaders Olimpus Roma for the fourth time this 2023/2024 season. In the previous three, the Rossini team coached by mister Fausto Scarpitti has always gone from strength to strength. In the first leg of the championship, on 23 December at the Palagems in Rome, the defeat was round with a 5 to 1 in favor of Olimpus. Then, the Cup. Even though Pesaro had to abandon their dream of the Finals, the performance, again at the home of the Capitoline team, was exciting. And finally the 27th regular match at Palamegabox, with a nice 5 to 3 victory thanks to braces from Vavà and Juanfran, and the splendid goal from Mohabz. Now the Playoff quarter-finals, with game 1 set either for 10 or 11 May again at the Palagems in Rome, game 2 for 13 or 14 May, and the eventual match on 17 or 18 May.
On the same side of the scoreboard, also Meta Catania-Ecocity Genzano, while, on the opposite side, Napoli-Feldi Eboli will compete in an all-Campanian derby, and L84-Sandro Abate.
