An ambitious work is about to take shape in the Campania landscape, a modern hospital overlooking the Gulf of Naples with 310 beds in Castellammare di Stabia, a massive investment of 120 million euros destined to transform the healthcare landscape in the area south of capital. With a capacity of 310 beds and cutting-edge technology, the hospital that will be built in Castellammare aims to provide assistance to a potential catchment area of almost 600 thousand inhabitants. This new healthcare hub will not only relieve pressure on the Ospedale del Mare, but will also offer advanced and timely services for the local population.

The governor of Campania, Vincenzo De Luca, announced the start of the tender for the selection of the company that will carry out the works. The construction phase is expected to last three years, in addition to the time required for the demolition of the pre-existing structures in the area, acquired by the Region for approximately 13 million euros.

The new hospital will be built in the Solaro areas belonging to the Nuove Terme di Stabia, already acquired by the Region. This initiative represents a concrete response to the growing demand for health in the area, providing high quality services and improving access to medical care for all.

The general director of the ASL Napoli 3 Sud, Giuseppe Russo, underlines the institution’s commitment to guaranteeing the best possible assistance to the local community. Governor De Luca, for his part, also expresses satisfaction with the level of collaboration achieved with the local authorities and the Superintendence, fundamental to the success of this project.

The new hospital in Castellammare di Stabia is not just an engineering work, but a symbol of commitment to the well-being and health of citizens. With its completion, the region will be able to look to the future with confidence, knowing that it has modern, cutting-edge facilities available to meet the healthcare needs of the population in a complicated territory.
