New hires in the Sicily Region. On April 29, another 106 new officials officially signed the contract, thanks to the flow of rankings of the 2022 competitions for generational turnover. 21 signed already last March. The scrolling, started between August And October 2022 for 216 positions, it was necessary to fill – partially – the lack of staff in various roles within the regional administration. In 40 refused the assignment. A further scrolling of the rankings is expected after the approval of final account of the Region, to complete the remaining 110 hires.
Recruitments in the Sicily Region: 106 accepted
Of the 146 suitable candidates summoned for the signing of contracts, 106 accepted the offer. The Sicilian Region has hired: 7 lawyers13 agronomists39 administrative officials8 computer scientists and 39 engineers. Furthermore, 7 workers from protected categories were hired. The new employees were welcomed to the Public Function Department in Palermo by the President of the Region, Renato Schifani. They will enter service from next June 3rd.
