COSENZA – If in Calabria the long weekend of April 25th once again offered spring scenerywith lots of sun and pleasant temperaturesfor the First of May, Labor Day, the weather situation is once again ready for a change of scenery. The African anticyclone, which protected our region and a good part of the Central-South from bad weather, is ready to give way to the arrival of at least two disturbances of North Atlantic origin and connected to one vast low pressure air which extends from the United Kingdom to France, Spain and Morocco.

The Anticyclone will begin to strike from this evening retreat under the pressure of the bagging And of a vortex that will make its way into the central Mediterranean. The main objective, at the moment, is Sardinia and the western sides of the center and north, where considerable rainfall is expected. But thewidespread instability will also have its effects felt on the Tyrrhenian sides of Sicily, Campania, Basilicata and Calabria where, between Wednesday 1 May and Thursday, they could occur showers, showers and some thunderstorms. Temperatures have dropped sharply since Friday
