European elections, Parma’s candidatures for a seat in Strasbourg

The ranks of local candidates for the European elections scheduled for 8 and 9 June are expanding.

To the already announced presences on the list of Federico Pizzarotti with Action ed Emiliano Occhi for the League, it is added Nicola Dall’Olio, ready to run for the Greens. Today at 6.30 pm in the kiosk in the Ex Eridania park a themed meeting on Europe is scheduled by the candidate.

In the last few hours the name of has also appeared Nicola Cesari with the United States and Europe in “share” of Italia Viva. The mayor would therefore be running for the new mandate as mayor of Sorbolo Mezzani and also for a place in the European Parliament.

The composition of the lists and the delivery are coming to an end: 75 thousand subscriptions are needed to be collected throughout Italy and must be delivered between 8am on April 30th and 8pm on May 1st.

The local candidates fall within the north-eastern constituency which includes Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Friuli and Alto Adige.

In Italy we will vote from 2pm to 10pm on Saturday 8th and from 7am to 11pm on Sunday 9th. The system is pure proportional: each party gets a number of representatives based on its electoral result. A threshold of 4% is expected at national level.
