My story in Perugia has ended. There are many people who deserve to be mentioned and thanked, but first of all I want to make a special mention for this TEAM ❤️ It would be difficult to name here everyone I got to work with during these 6 seasons, but I have all of you in my heart and in my memory and I want to thank you for everything. I limit myself to writing these names: Simone Giannelli, Gregor Ropret, Davide Candellaro, Flavio Gualberto, Roberto Russo, Sebastian Solé, Wassim Ben Tara, Jesus Herrera, Tim Held, Oleh Plotnytskyi, Kamil Semeniuk, Massimo Colaci, Alessandro Toscani. 13 great teammates, thanks to whom I achieved 4 gold medals this season. I have had the honor, pleasure and blessing of being the captain of this incredible team and I hope I have served you well.
And not only have you been my co-workers, but now you and your families are friends of my family. Our wives/partners have bonded, your children have become my children’s best friends despite language differences and we have created our own little community in Perugia creating memories that will last forever. Dear ladies players from Perugia, I want to pay tribute to you for always being with us and for having created a home wherever we find ourselves playing. You deserve to feel appreciated
