Here we are. From today at 8 in the Court of Appeal the lists for the are presented European elections. In Naples the parties will deliver the lists of candidates for the Southern constituency. Excited hours to finalize the lists, even if almost all the lineups are now ready and the big names in the field have almost all been announced.
The centre-right
The biggest news should come from Brothers of Italy. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s party, which will lead its political formation with its own name, has made its assessments right up to the end to complete the lists. Among the people from Campania, the last-minute names that should appear on the list are those of Paolo Monorchpresident of the Naples committee of the Italian Red Cross, e Gino Giamundo, president of the Fashion and Design section of the Industrial Union. He should, therefore, be the name resulting from the channel opened between Neapolitan industrialists and the government’s majority party. Also on the list is the former mayor of Pagani Alberico Gambino, the regional councilor Massimo Grimaldi, the former regional councilor Mariagrazia Di Scala, Elena Scarlato, an entrepreneur from the northern area of Naples already a candidate for the Senate, and Ines Frongillo from Irpinia. For Forza Italia the leader will be Fulvio Martusciello, regional coordinator and outgoing head of the Azzurri delegation in Strasbourg. With him on the list, among the Campania, also Alessandra Mussolini and the outgoing Isabella Adinolfi and Lucia Vuolo. But there are many people from Campania on the blue list: the former 5 Star Movement Raffaele De Rosa, the president of Avellino football Angelo D’Agostino, the Flegrean Francesca Saltarello and the Pomiglianese Barbara Ricci. The League is focusing on General Roberto Vannacci who will be in Naples on the Lungomare on Thursday. The real ace in the hole, however, could turn out to be Aldo Patriciello, among the record holders for preferences in the last European elections when he was still with Forza Italia. The party’s former Campania commissioner is also on the list Valentino Grantthe regional councilor Carmela Rescigno, the Samnite Raffaele Barone and Angela Russo.
The center
The biggest news at the center comes from Action. The reservation has been lifted regarding the former regional councilor Luigi Bosco who signed the candidacy yesterday. On the field with Luigi Casciello from Salerno also takes part and the outgoing one Giosi Ferrandino. Also on the list from Campania are the Neapolitan businesswoman Barbara Preziosi and Paola Fanfarillo among the Republicans. The derby within the centrists is with the United States of Europe list which unites Italia Viva, Più Europa and Psi among others. The driving force will be the regional councilor for Agriculture Nicola Caputo. Also on the list is the wife of Clemente Mastella Sandra Lonardothe socialist leader Enzo Maraio and in all likelihood Caterina Miraglia, former regional councilor and mother of Stanislao Lanzotti, recently city leader of Italia Viva.
The centre-left
Great internal competition within the Democratic Party. Behind the leaders Lucia Annunziatathe outgoing Vice President of the European Parliament will be there Pina Piciernothe former senator Sandro Ruotolo and the former deputy Lello Topo. In Campania, the candidacies of the mayor of Bari are also being looked at with great interest Antonio Decaro and the former sardine Jasmine Cristallo. The 5 Star Movement will be led in the South by former INPS number one Pasquale Tridic.
