Civitanova, 29 April 2024 – Manola Gironacci drags the mayor again Fabrizio Ciarapica in court. He presented a new appeal against the revocation bis of the councilor delegations that the mayor granted at the beginning of April to his former head of the tourism department. Last March 21st, with a sentence issued by Tar MarcheGironacci had been back in the saddle compared to Ciarapica’s first decision, dating back to the end of September 2023, with which the mayor had decided to remove her from the council, on the grounds that the relationship of trust had failed.
She did appeal to the court regional, obtaining full favor in March: the judges established that the mayor’s decree lacked motivation. What was contested against Gironacci was theremembership of the League party, she who had been nominated in the Civitanova Unica civic list. In court she managed to demonstrate that she had a political feeling and that there were no membership cards, and the panel of judges agreed with her by rejecting Ciarapica’s decree.
Which, at the beginning of April, signed a second provision, having it also signed by the group leaders of the Civitanova Unica, Forza Italia and Vince Civitanova lists, while the Lega and Fratelli d’Italia did not join. Gironacci, once he had acquired the documents, returned to his lawyer, llawyer Pietro Siciliano. Together they studied the practice and presented a new appeal to the TAR to contest the reasons on which the mayor based his choice to return to withdraw her delegations, i.e. that her presence on the council would have caused problems in the political balance of the majority that governs the Municipality.
The news of the appeal reached Ciarapica on the evening in which he opened the Council meeting by reading the reasons that led him to sign the second withdrawal of the delegation to Gironacci.
