The NGO ONE Campaign, co-founded by Bono to put an end to extreme poverty, has selected the two young Cuneo activists Carlotta Croci and Francesco Ghibaudo as ONE Youth Ambassadors to ask candidates for the European elections to ensure a fair and dignified future for everyone, everywhere.
The Youth Ambassador program in Italy is a volunteering opportunity aimed at young people who wish to develop skills and knowledge in the fields of climate justice, elections and global health.
Thirty young people from all over Italy met in Rome to follow two days of training on the activities they will carry out during the year as activists. In particular, this year they will ask Italian candidates in the European elections to commit to supporting funding to end preventable diseases, fight the climate crisis and ensure a future in which where you live does not determine your ability to survive. For this reason, the Youth Ambassadors met and discussed with the Green candidate Benedetta Scuderi, who signed and supported our declaration of intent for the next European elections.
Together with almost 200 other ONE Youth Ambassadors in France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, the Italian activists will lead this campaign throughout 2024, involving male and female candidates by inviting them to sign a declaration of intent to get involved to guarantee a fair and dignified future for everyone, everywhere.
