ALEXANDRIA – With today’s first meeting in Piazza Santa Maria di Castelloin Alessandria, the electoral campaign has officially begun Domenico Ravettigroup leader of Democratic party at Palazzo Lascaris and candidate to sit on the bench again as regional councilor. “Let’s take her home” is the slogan that will characterize the next few weeks of events. Many topics were touched upon by the centre-left exponent in his speech: from healthcare to logistics, from the environment to local public transport. Ravetti relaunched the proposal free tickets for commuter students and invoked a comparison between the candidates: “Let’s move away from propaganda, to make the next 8 and 9 June a celebration of democracy and participation. Let’s talk about numbers, facts, analyzes and perspectives.”
From this Tuesday Ravetti will begin his long journey in our province: “I will start from Acquese, from Terzo. I will go where there is little interest from politicians. I will be alongside people to demonstrate that politics serves them above all: the quality of democracy is at stake.”
