Home vote, questions open from tomorrow

The Municipality of La Spezia informs that from tomorrow 30 April 2024 the deadline for receiving applications for authorization to vote at home begins. The interested voter must send a declaration certifying his desire to vote at the home in which he lives, accompanied by the required health documentation in the period between Tuesday 30 April 2024 and Monday 20 May 2024. The application for admission to vote domiciliary, to be drawn up on plain paper, which must indicate the complete address of the house in which the voter lives, a telephone number, must be accompanied by a copy of the electoral card and a suitable health certification issued by a medical official designated by the bodies of the local health authority. In order not to induce uncertainty, these medical certificates must reproduce the exact regulatory formulation referred to in paragraph 1 of article 1 of law no. 46/2009 certifying, therefore, either that the voters are affected by serious infirmities and are in conditions of continuous and vital dependence on electro-medical equipment such as to prevent their removal from the home in which they live, or that the voters are affected by very serious infirmities such that removal from the home in which they live is impossible even with the aid of the services provided for by the art. 29 of law 5 February 1992, n. 104.
