The Società Balestrieri di Sansepolcro and the Compagnia Balestrieri di Lucca are pleased to present the “IMAGO DEI” Trophy – Tribute to the Holy Face which this year will be held in the city of Lucca on May 12th.
The presentation of the event will take place on Friday 3 May at 11.00 in the Council Room of Palazzo delle Laudi, in the heart of Sansepolcro.
The “IMAGO DEI” Trophy represents a tribute to the Holy Face, a symbol of devotion and spirituality for the communities of Sansepolcro and Lucca. Thanks to the collaboration between the two prestigious Crossbowmen Societies, this trophy is a unique opportunity to celebrate the rich tradition and deep bond between the two cities.
The presentation of the trophy will be a moment of sharing, during which the characteristics and meaning of this important competition will be illustrated. Representatives from the two Crossbow Clubs will also be present, ready to answer questions and share details on the next stages of the trophy.
The event is open to the public and to all those who wish to learn about and participate in this fascinating event of tradition and competition.
