Modica – Significant result obtained from the training under 19 of theAvimecc Volley Modica that last April 25th Saint Teresa Riva she graduated regional vice champion of category acquiring the right to represent the Sicily to the national phase which will be held in Saint Justin from 14 to 19 May.
The young blue and whites will compete for qualification by challenging the Lucanians in their group Venosa sports clubthe Umbrians of Sir Safety Perugia (team that won the scudetto a few hours ago in Super alloy) and the Lombards of True Volley Monza.
“We are very happy to have gained access to the national youth finals under 19 – explains Giorgio Scavinoresponsible for the under 19 and under 17 teams of the Volley Modica – as it is one of the most prestigious Italian events for youth sectors. For us it is a source of pride to have achieved this goal because the Volley Modica had been missing from the national youth stages since 2018. It’s a shame for the under 17 team, who didn’t succeed in the feat, but also the path taken at regional level, where they stopped at the semi-final, is to be considered more than positive. Our staff is certainly highly respectable, with promising players who have grown a lot under the guidance of coaches Ciccio Italywhich in Umbria will have a ‘second’ of excellence as Enzo Distefano who will be with us at Saint Justin and will give us his support. My joy is undeniable because – he continues – we managed to give a very important stage to our boys who will have the opportunity to compete with the best youth sectors of Italian volleyball and in the teams included in our group, many of their colleagues are part of the team roster Of A1 And A2. It is a great honor for us to represent the Sicily in a national context and we will do everything to honor our shirt with the colors ofAvimecc Volley Modica and at the same time our shirt Trinacria. The white and blue management is also satisfied with the goal achieved by the youth of the youth team.
