Last night in Canosa di Puglia there was a violent argument between boys which ended in tragedy: after an argument between the three, one of them grabbed a switchblade with a blade 18 cm long and began to hit the other two several times and then run away. The carabinieri from the Canosa station and subsequently from the Andria company immediately arrived on site to provide assistance to the 118 personnel and to reconstruct the dynamics of the events. The two injured boys were transported to the nearest hospital, one in Andria was discharged in the morning, while the other is in Barletta where his life is in danger. The murder weapon was found on a table in the bar and subjected to seizure at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
From the investigations carried out and from the viewing of the cameras present at the scene of the dispute, the Carabinieri carried out the arrest decree of a crime suspect, issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Trani, against the suspect who committed the crimes of attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons, awaiting validation by the Preliminary Investigation Judge.
The young man is currently detained at the Trani prison awaiting trial.
It should be noted that the position of the arrested person is being examined by the Judicial Authority and that he cannot be considered guilty until a conviction is pronounced.
