Prohibited parking blocks buses in Pisa and Tirrenia, Autolinee Toscane evaluates the complaint

Autolinee Toscane informs that through its lawyers it is evaluating the possibility of filing a complaint for interruption of public service against those motorists who, on 28 April 2024, left their cars in prohibited parking and blocked the circulation of buses, causing not only severe delays in the local public transport service but also some missed trips.

Two episodes.

One in Tirrenia (see photos) where in Piazza Belvedere, around 5pm, a car parked in a no parking zone prevented the transit of the bus headed to Pisa. Only after the intervention of the Municipal Police and the removal of the car, around 6.06pm, was the TPL vehicle able to continue its service.

The other episode occurred in via Cuoco, in the I Passi area. Also in this case (see the photo) around 5pm a parked car blocked the TPL buses. Some had to take a detour, but three other routes were cancelled. The blockade lasted until around 6pm.
