A general improvement in the weather conditions is expected in our regions starting from Sunday 28th, with mostly clear skies or at times affected by the passage of harmless medium-high clouds. The anticyclonic rise, in fact, in addition to guaranteeing greater stability, will favor the influx of a mass of warm air, with a consequent increase in temperatures. The 3BMeteo experts predict a new possible worsening of the meteorological picture, possible during the first of May: the numerical models, in fact, at the moment outline an unstable scenario over a large part of the country, the evolution is however still uncertain. Therefore, if cloud cover is expected over a large part of the island in the morning, in the afternoon the situation may vary, with rather unstable weather from the western to the eastern part of the island.
On Wednesday 1 May the disturbance associated with the cyclonic vortex will reach all of Italy, bringing rain and thunderstorms, including intense ones, to the Northwest, western Lombardy, western Emilia, the major islands, the central Tyrrhenian belt and Campania. In Sicily the pressure starts to increase again, favoring a rapid thinning of the clouds leading to clear or slightly cloudy skies already in the afternoon. Specifically, on the Tyrrhenian coast, mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies for the entire day; on the Ionian coast very cloudy or overcast skies with large clearings from late afternoon to clear or slightly cloudy skies; on the southern coast, a mostly cloudy day, except for the presence of scattered clouds in the morning; in the Apennines and inland areas initially very cloudy or overcast skies but with large and rapid clearings from late morning to clear or slightly cloudy skies. Moderate winds from the south-eastern quadrants rotating to the west; freezing point around 3200 metres. Lower Tyrrhenian Sea from rough to very rough; Channel and Sea of Sicily from very rough to rough.
