Second appointment with politics for the children of the Andrea Ponti high school in Gallarate.
Last year, Professor Gabriella D’Amato had organized a meeting with Senator Giusy Versace with the aim of passing on the message that, after a fall, one can get up again: «It was a moving moment that involved everyone the boys”.
This year, however, the same professor has planned another initiative in which the Varese MP Maria Chiara Gadda, the first signatory of law 166/2016, known as the Gadda law, will be a guest. This includes provisions regarding the donation and distribution of food and pharmaceutical products, with the aim of social solidarity and the limitation of waste.
The Honorable Gadda will meet the fifth year students, explaining the law and answering the questions that the students are preparing in recent days.
«The objective is to bring young people closer to politics, which can be something useful, good and concrete and, furthermore, to inform them about the interesting content of this law – says Professor D’Amato -. A second purpose is to convey to them the idea that politics, understood as politics without sides, can get closer to the people, putting aside the skepticism widespread among young people and adults”.
The appointment is scheduled for Thursday 2 May, from 11 am to 1 pm at the Stelvio main hall, in Gallarate.
