Molise Region: payments for applications for surface measurements

The Agricultural Payment Agency (AGEA) has arranged the payment for a total of approximately 11.5 million euros equal to approximately 70% of the companies involved and divided as follows: 2.4 million euros in favor of 432 applications from companies that have joined the SRA01 “Integrated Production” intervention and have started the procedures for two further liquidations, one of over 5 million euros in favor of 1859 companies that took part in the SRB01 “Compensatory allowance” intervention and the other of almost 3.8 million euros in favor of 465 applications submitted by companies relating to the SRA29 “Organic agriculture” intervention. The applications still outstanding, because they present anomalies, will be manually corrected and also liquidated in the next few days.
“Important numbers which are the result of a synergistic commitment with the representatives of the agricultural sector and the regional structure – declared the Councilor – regarding the need to guarantee adequate payment to agricultural companies also in consideration of the enormous gap recorded between the available resources and requests received. In this regard, it is specified that the previous programming had prepared an availability equal to €10 million for integrated agriculture and €29.3 million for the compensatory allowance, against which there are requests for integrated agriculture equal to €8.3 million and for the compensatory indemnity of €8.7 million which, developed for the entire period, are equal to €41.5 million and €43.5 million respectively, for a total of €85 million, compared to €39 million total availability. Furthermore, there was a huge gap between the resources available and the applications received. After careful studies and insights shared and argued with the agricultural associations, the regional structure has put forward the technical proposal, voted unanimously in the consultation table by the same trade associations, to cut the premium relating to the “Integrated Agriculture” measures to a maximum of 20%. ” and “Compensatory allowance” and introduce the criterion of incompatibility between the two measures, starting from the current year, specifying that the number of companies involved in this maneuver would be 800 out of a total of 4,000 operating in the region”. Trentino Alto-Adige: support for mountain agriculture

A contribution in favor of direct farmers, sharecroppers and settlers registered for the respective management of contributions and social security benefits and operating in companies that find themselves in particularly difficult conditions. This is what the regional council approved on the proposal of the regional councilor Carlo Daldoss. “These are supplementary social security interventions in favor of direct farmers, sharecroppers and settlers – explains Daldoss – we are thus helping a sector that has been heavily penalized since the Covid emergency”. “This measure helps to support mountain agriculture, which is kept alive in difficult conditions – declared regional councilor Franz Thomas Locher – the number of applications and the sums paid in the past confirm its need”. In detail, for South Tyrolean companies that have a score of less than 76 points of disadvantage and for those from Trentino that operate at an altitude of less than 900 metres, provided that they are in disadvantaged conditions according to the criteria established by each autonomous province, the contribution is equal 50% of the social security contribution paid to INPS. Another story is for the agricultural companies of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano which presented a disadvantage of 76 to 110 points. These will receive a contribution equal to 60% of the amount paid into the INPS social security contribution, while those who have more than 110 points of disadvantage will have a contribution equal to 70% of the payments. In Trentino, however, the contribution equal to 60% will be reserved for those agricultural activities located at an altitude between 900 and 1200 metres. Those operating above 1200 meters will, however, have a contribution of 70%. According to data provided by the Agency for Social and Economic Development (ASSE), 3,335 were presented in Alto Adige in 2023 (638 less than the previous year) for a total of 7,366,339.97 euros. In particular, the farms with a score equal to or lower than 75 points were 1,857 companies that received 3,752,793.84 euros. Those with a score between 76 and 110 points were 1,057 agricultural activities that received 2,435,976.59 euros. Finally, 421 companies were classified above 110 points of disadvantage and received 1,177,569.54 euros. In Trentino, however, based on the information provided by the Provincial Agency for Integrative Assistance and Social Security (APAPI), there are 2,062 applications (2 less than the data provided last year) for an estimated figure of around 4,500,000 euros. Looking at the numbers we discover that the companies that operate at an altitude lower than 900 meters are 1,306, those between 900 and 1200 meters are 484 and finally those above 1200 meters are 272.
